As Mill City continues to engage in our Housing and Homelessness Initiative, we are about to take some important steps that will help make change in the area of affordable housing. Increasing the amount of affordable housing is important, but it’s also critical that we understand the systems and history that have held us back from housing for all. Jesse has a background in city planning and brings expertise to the subject.  NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard) is a force in our communities that keeps racial and economic diversity segregated in our neighborhoods.
