The main event will just be spending time together, perhaps some fun activities on the side my friends are coming up with. Also there will be an optional opportunity to join in one of the dance parties and a magic show!

Would you consider supporting an initiative important to me? My friend Mitch Reaume is leading this initiative with his organization Fight For Something – it is a scholarship for students from the Karen and Karenni communities so they can attend Bethel undergrad programs. The Twin Cities are home to more than 20,000 Karen and Karenni people, the largest population outside of Myanmar. Many Karen and Karenni families have fled political violence and resettled in Minnesota—and a growing number of students from these families have also found community at Bethel.
