In the middle of a letter written by 1st century church leader named Paul, to the church in Rome, he says this pretty clear statement:
Romans 12:5
In Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Jesus is at the center of what it looks like for us to live together as many, forming one body, each member belonging to the other.
Romans chapter 12 is a “blue print” of sorts about what it looks like to live lives pursuing Jesus-centered belonging and purpose together – even very different people, with different backgrounds, from different generations, many different ethnicities, and political views.
Jesus-centered belonging has the chance to overcome the many barriers we face to experiencing what we long for in community.
Here are some resources to help you go deeper in Romans 12 – this “blue print” for Jesus-centered belonging:

Part 3: Scripture Writing
It is a tradition for many Jesus followers to write out passages of scripture as a way to meditate on the text and memorize parts of Scripture. This journal breaks the chapter into four sections to align with the four weeks of the series. The aim is to write the passage four times throughout the week.
