The book of Jonah begs the question  – will we take action and move toward those God is calling us to love – even if they are the hardest to love?

The way of Jesus isn’t passive, its active.

If we choose the way of Jesus, we actively lean in to prayer. We actively listen for how God is inviting us to join in and respond to what is happening in our families, our communities and in our world.

We actively take one step at a time joining in what God is doing to restore what is broken.

And we don’t do it alone, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit!

I believe that the Spirit wants to lead everyone in this room to a specific next step when it comes to receiving God’s love so that we can love others – even those hardest to love.
