Most of us feel like true peace is so difficult to experience.
On one hand – if we acknowledge the realities of the “peace stealers” we face – this isn’t shocking and it isn’t going to help to heap shame upon the mountain of anxiety so many of us feel the we are already under.
But on the other hand, we make thousands of decisions every day about what we are going to prioritize in life – but most of us know – God’s peace is not what we prioritize.
Even though peace is something Jesus said he gives us – It’s not as though we just have to say the magic word and Jesus changes our entire inner life – it’s not a transaction.
It’s pressing in to our relationship with him – but also using the tools God has given us that help us become centered. Here are some tools that could be helpful – perhaps pick one or two and give them a try!
