Render Free is relaunching in its new Northeast location and hosting a celebratory grand opening event! The “new location” is the future home of Mill City Church on 13th Ave and Madison! We are thrilled to host this group of women during the weekdays from 8:30am-5:30pm in the “atrium” part of the building. During those time frames the atrium is for exclusive access by Render Free members – but our community still gets to use this beautifully restored space evenings and weekends!

Render Free is a 100% Black woman-owned workspace and wellness club for self-identified Black and Brown women. Named after a pursuit to “make liberation”, Render Free’s purpose is to provide an affinity space to practice the integration of rest, work, self-care and collective healing. One founding member expresses, “Render Free is a space for me. It allows me to be my entire self – I not only feel welcomed I feel celebrated! It has been a wonderful resource for my mental health.”
Render Free was founded in 2020 by Arielle Grant as a pop-up location in South Minneapolis operating two days a week. The intent of this pop-up was to gauge the alignment of Render Free’s offerings and the needs of the community. This was confirmed by the participation of nearly 200 Black and Brown women who joined Render Free as Founding Members.
Now, Render Free is expanding and relaunching in a new location. Self-identified Black & Brown women are invited to join Render Free as members today. Memberships include access to the lounge and workspace five days a week, featured wellness practitioners, group solidarity sessions and one-on-one member care.
The grand opening event, which is open to the public, is a great way to experience the impact of this community resource firsthand. To support Render Free in this exciting moment, purchase or sponsor a membership.
