Sunday Teams:

(UP – serving on Sundays to support the worship services)

Crew – Help with the setup outdoor sandwich board signs and prepare Communion for the worship services.

Family Life – Working with MCC kids (Infant to Elementary) on Sunday mornings during the worship service (30 minutes, no prep required).

Hospitality Table – Prepare and replenish the coffee and other items used for the hospitality table each week.

Tech – Help run slides, operate a camera, and other tech pieces of the live and digital services.

Welcome – Serve as greeters, ushers, and at the Connection Table to help make Mill City a hospitable and welcoming place.

Worship – Be part of the vocalists and/or instrumentalists who lead our community in worship every week.

Community Life Teams:

(IN – supporting each other in our church community, these teams serve at various times during the week)

Building Team – This is the team that works together to care for the church buildings. They organize projects that can be done with various levels of experience. Experience is also welcome!

Meals & More – Provide meals, groceries, or medical deliveries to community members who recently went through a significant event.

Prayer Team -Provide various ways to engage in or receive prayer including Midweek Morning Prayer, prayer appointments, all church weeks of prayer (7 Days of Prayer), and Sunday services.

Student Ministry Team – These folks hang out with our middle school and high schoolers! They offer friendship, mentorship and support the programming.

Pastoral Care Team – This team provides care for our community, focusing in the areas of Visitation, Support and Encouragement, Meals and More, Leading Prayer, Care of Seniors, End of Life Care, Funeral Care, Respite, Support Groups, and Transportation.

Community Impact Teams:

(OUT – supporting our outward focused mission)

Clare Housing Brunch – This team makes brunch on the last Saturday mornings of the month for the tenants of the Clare Housing Apartments. The purpose of these brunches is to share the love of Christ through cultivating a space for friendship. 

Every Meal Team – This team comes to Las Estrellas on Friday mornings to place bags of food in the back packs of the kids we support through the Every Meal program – covering the weekend food gap.

Global Impact Team – This team supports our global partners serving in ministry worldwide. We also listen and respond to how the Holy Spirit is inviting Mill City to serve those from around the world, who are now our neighbors.

Little Kitchen Food Shelf Team – This team serves every Tuesday night hosting guests who come to the Little Kitchen Food Shelf located in the Grace Center in Northeast.

CarePortal –  CarePortal is a care-sharing technology that connects people who can help local children and families in crisis. Before any need is shared, it goes through a thorough vetting process to ensure that the request is legitimate, accurate, and important to the wellbeing of a child or family. Once a request is submitted, alerts are instantly emailed and/or texted to responders located within close proximity of the need.
