Love Logan Park Summer!

Mill City has Logan Park as our front lawn – this has been a central gathering place for Northeasters since 1883! This summer we are going to make an intentional effort as a church to love Logan Park. We have been working with the park staff and have the following all church plans:

4th Sundays!

• Picnics: Every 4th Sunday bring your lunch to picnic in the park after the two morning worship services. Goal: Meet at least one neighbor and one new MCC person
• Worship and Pizza in the Park: The 5pm service will be outside at the Park every 4th Sunday! Bring a lawn chair and afterward we will have pizza in the park for everyone who attends our service and also anyone else who wants to join us at the park.

Logan Park Movie Night

• We are partnering with Logan Park to host an ice cream social and movie in the park for the neighborhood on August 15th from 6-8:30pm.  Disney’s Strange World will be showing and it will start at 9pm. Sign up to be on the team and join in: Sign up here 

Logan Park Challenge! How many steps of the Love Logan Park Challenge can you accomplish? 

• Meet a new neighbor at the park and get their name
• Eat a meal at the park with your family, friends, or even on your own
• Go down at least one slide, or play basketball, or tennis, or kickball
• Meet someone on the park staff and let them know you are from Mill City and that we are glad we can cheer them on in their work
• Prayer walk through the walking paths through and around the park – pray that the Kingdom will come in our neighborhood
