New Covenant Member Process

We are excited that you are considering joining us as Covenant Members at Mill City Church!

Mill City Church is a multi-generational, Jesus-centered church in Northeast Minneapolis. “Mill City” is one of the oldest nicknames for the city of Minneapolis. Our mission at MCC is to love our community in the name of Jesus.

Everything that we do is about being able to live out that mission together. Our hope is that everyone in our community, from our young kids on up will be equipped to participate with God in their everyday spaces.

Leadership Team

The Mill City leadership team are responsible for leading our church spiritually with wisdom and discernment from the Holy Spirit.

The team is elected by the Covenant Members and is between 6 to 10 people and usually includes two of the pastors.

This team leads together non-hierarchically. Everyone on the team has an equal voice and decisions are made together.



Staff Team

The Mill City staff is focused on equipping our community to live out our mission. Thus they have two main goals:

1. To equip the Mill City Community to join God in living out our mission: to love our community in the name of Jesus.

2. To come alongside the community in helping remove obstacles and barriers that hold them back from following God’s leadership in their life.



Preaching Team

The preaching team is intentionally composed of diverse voices. Everyone on the preaching team has or is pursuing a graduate or doctoral degree in theology, ministry and Biblical studies.

There has been a team of preachers since the beginning of our church in 2008. We are grateful that God has brought us this gifted team as it has grown over the years!
