Young Adults

At Mill City our Young Adult Ministry is for anyone who considers themselves a young adult, whether you are in school or in the years just after school, we hope you find a home at Mill City. The heart of our young adult ministry is about being apprentices of Jesus together. We do this in community through discipleship groups and missional communities. We also use a WhatsApp to help people getting connected to groups and hangouts.

Missional Communities

These are small to mid-sized groups of people who have a specific mission focus. Together they discover how to join in with what God is doing in their focus area. They also care and pray for each other while learning about the way of Jesus together. Missional Communities intentionally cultivate an “extended family” atmosphere that is small enough to allow every member to be known and actively involved, but also large enough to do something substantive in their mission context. It’s a house full of friends on mission together!

Currently, our Young Adult Missional Community that exists to love and serve Young Adults in the Northeast Neighborhood meets on Thursdays.

Discipleship Groups

These groups are for young adults ready to do life together and receive support, challenge, and accountability in their relationship with God to grow to be more like Jesus and step boldly into doing what Jesus did.

We have Discipleship groups specific to college students, and others are open to any young adults. These meet at various times throughout the week.
