This week we had a specific invitation to love our neighbors from one of our partners Arrive Ministries. For many years we have supported the work they do as an organization that welcomes refugees and immigrants to the Twin Cities and other parts of Minnesota. 

Arrive shared that it has been a difficult week for their team since an executive order was signed suspending all refugee arrivals to the United States. Their team knows intimately how difficult the road is for so many refugees – many of whom are religious minorities facing relentless persecution.

They have asked that we would pray and take action to support their mission.

Pray:

• Pray for their team as they are welcoming 109 refugees that have already arrived through the MSP airport in the last several months. 
• Pray that the refugee program is resumed after the 90-day review. 

Take action:

•  Serve with Arrive – there are great ways to serve including as a volunteer that welcomes new neighbors and builds relationships, to donating items that are needed, teaching English.
• Donate to Arrive – Of course it would be huge to financially support their mission.
