Last Sunday one of our leaders Anna Baskaran told me she was intentionally thinking about all the places that meaningful things had happened at Las Estrellas as this upcoming Sunday will be our last worshipping at the school. We have been there for almost 14 years!

In this season of transition I want to encourage you not to push away memories that might cause you to feel mixed emotions – but rather to cherish what God has done and perhaps what God has brought you through.

As we approach this final Sunday at Las Estrellas, before heading to the restored 13th and Madison – consider taking time to ponder the memories that you cherish in either building. While on one hand they are merely buildings, they are places of meaning.

When we move on April 2nd – that will feel like a brand new experience for ALL of us!

Taking time to cherish memories and moments is good preparation for change.

THIS SUNDAY while we will still be at Las Estrellas we will already be changing to our new Sunday morning schedule and service times. Special note – Mill City Kids Elementary programming will be during both services.

Please note the schedule below:

9:00 – Worship Service & Mill City Kids Birth through 5th Grade
10:15 – Prayer
10:15 – Devos and Donuts 6th-12th Grade
11:00 – Worship Service & Mill City Kids Birth through 5th Grade
10am-1pm – Preview Party & Historic Elim 135th Birthday Party at 13th and Madison (come any time)

We are honored to be joined by our Spanish Speaking church plant Espiritu Santo Iglesia for both services. We will have a chance to “pass the torch” to them as they will continue to worship at Las Estrellas!

We can still use more hands in preparing the building at 13th and Madison: SIGN UP

And we need more Egg Hunt Team Members and Easter Weekend Welcomers: SIGN UP

I’m looking forward making new meaningful memories with you!

Peace,

Pastor Steph
